AYAM KALIO (CHICKEN KALIO)


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 chicken
  • 1 piece rasp coconut


Spices Ingredients:

  • 5 pieces red onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 tbsp ground red chili pepper
  • 2 pieces candlenut
  • 3 cm turmeric
  • 5 cm galangal
  • 1 stalk lemongrass
  • 1/2 sheets turmeric leaves
  • 2 sheets lime leaves
  • 1 1/2 tbsp salt


How to make Chicken Kalio:

  1. Cut chicken and washed.
  2. Grind all spices except lemongrass, galangal, turmeric leaves, and lime leaves.
  3. Press coconut and take 4 glasses coconut milk.
  4. Cook coconut milk and spices until boiling and oily.
  5. Put chicken, cook until tender and coconut milk become thick and oily.
  6. Serve.
